My work is generally absract, surreal and vividly colored.  I take a lot of inspiration from nature- the way a new leaf shoots off of a stem, the gentle curve of a deer's antler.. I try to imitate these lines with my pen.  I don't often incorporate realistic imagery into my work, though.  I prefer to leave figures and symbols at least slightly distorted and dream-like.

Symbology is another muse of mine, and is slowly starting to show up in my work.  I am learning to use the subtle language of symbols to link images to one another, and to set tones in each piece.

It is my intention to create artwork that can be interpreted in a variety of ways.  I am fascinated with the endless perspectives to any piece of art (or life, for that matter), and my work is in celebration of that.
